Notifier app (for covid vaccine )

 As individuals are finding very difficult to book vaccine , slots disappears within minutes , Notifier can help you with this , This app is very simple you need to select pincode and age for which you need to receive notification (18 or 45) , then press on start checking

Whenever there is vaccine slot available it will play a siren sound for 10 seconds and will notify you , stating the number of centers and their names with the button which opens cowin self registration portal.

How it works:

https://apisetu.gov.in/public/marketplace/api/cowin provides various apis one is calendarbypin which gives all slot for 7 days . The app send request to this at an inteval of 20 seconds  in background , whenever your age matches it checks if dose is available  , once available it shows you alert  . It maps each center with a boolean variable whether to show alert or not to avoid double notification display . Example - 3 center (A - 0 available ,B - 2 available ,C - 0 available)  it shows notification of B then maps B to 1(means dont show) , then when dose of center B again becomes zero it maps B to 0(means show) so that when next time B has  dose > 0 it shows notification , same applies to all cases.

Note: Sometimes data is available in api few minutes before in portal .

    app updated as a parameter was added named allow_all_age in api and it prevented other age group from notifying solved and working enjoy!

I decided to remove load balancer as i was incurring significant charges because of it , the problem propped up as I was getting free ssl certificate through aws certificate manager. As soon as I removed load balancer and changed the routing polices , my website was no longer encrypted with ssl.
